Amplify
(Grades 3-6)

Singers in AMPLIFY are welcomed into an energized and spirited classroom environment.

In AMPLIFY, students explore the joy of singing together, learning to harmonize, and improving their ability to read music, listen carefully, and sing in parts. Through fun activities and group collaboration, we focus on building foundational music skills such as ear training, music literacy, and vocal technique.

This class provides a positive, energetic environment where every child’s voice is heard, and the emphasis is on teamwork, musical growth, and having fun.


“Amplify” is for students who are ready to…

- Enjoy learning and singing in a group!
- Have a positive attitude — we are a team and support each other!
- Listen and follow directions from the teacher during instruction.
- Be responsible for your materials and sheet music during rehearsals.
- Participate independently for a 60- or 75-minute rehearsal with other children and one teacher.
- Use the bathroom on your own without assistance. (Please try to go before rehearsal begins!)

To support student success, we use Tier 1 strategies such as: (1) Clear Expectations, (2) Explicit Instruction, (3) Positive Reinforcement, (4) Positive Culture, (5) Visual Supports, (6) Movement Breaks, and (7) Consistent Routines.
