Sheriff Patrick W. McDermott
The Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office Youth Leadership Academy and the South Shore Children’s Chorus present a new summer experience for children aged 11-18 in July & August 2023! This program will guide young leaders to explore who they are, and answer big questions like “Who am I in my relationships?” and “What is my power?” The week will be taught by SSCC staff, trained in integrating researched-based and CASEL aligned social-emotional learning practices. Students will explore different types of self-expression - public speaking, theater, movement, singing, and more - and the week will culminate in an opportunity for students to authentically share what they’ve learned and created with their community.
Ages 11-18
Times: Each day will run from 8:30am-3:00pm
Cost: $100 non-refundable deposit due at time of registration, $150 remaining tuition due by no later than 6/15. Total tuition: $250
Session 1: Monday, July 22, 2024 - Friday, July 26, 2024
Session 2: Monday, July 29, 2024 - Friday, August 2, 2024
